Animated Portraits

Portraits are my absolute favorite thing to do right now. I've always been obsessed with 15th century portraits and I consider this my modern day take on the idea. They're equal parts challenging and rewarding. The process is pretty extensive because of my personal technique but the reaction I get from people when they finally get to see themselves immortalized as a character from their favorite cartoon universe is well worth the time.
